Zara moved from art and photography into food as a creative medium, pivoting her small company to shoot catering during the 2020 lockdown and executing 23 weddings in three months once events resumed. That growth led her to relaunch the business in 2024 as Pomelo, a female-led luxury events venture crafting personal, artful experiences for London's leading women and brands.

With a wealth of experience leading prestigious event kitchens across London, Cristina brings creativity, precision and a genuine love for seasonal food. She is dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences that reflect the Pomelo standard.

Martina honed her craft at London's acclaimed Hide Restaurant, developing technical precision and a passion for ingredient-led cooking, and now brings that same thoughtful, ingredient-focused approach to her new role in event catering with our team.
Lucy Hertzberg
Originally from Yorkshire, our Events and Sales Manager Lucy moved to London almost six years ago and now brings her sales background to the event catering industry. She loves meeting clients to discuss how Pomelo can help them, and what she enjoys most is the variety as no two days are the same, whether it's meetings, site visits, tastings, events, or visiting incredible venues.

Olivia Hayward
Originally from Australia, Olivia brings a background in law and hospitality PR to Pomelo, now working as an Event Manager where she combines her love of food and culinary artistry with a focus on personalised experiences. She particularly enjoys branded events, client and agency liaison, and developing in-house social media strategies, and finds inspiration in the variety of her role and collaborating with others who share her passion for great food and unforgettable gatherings.

Originally from Somerset, Freya joins Pomelo with a background that bridges creativity and logistics. Her Physiotherapy degree shaped her love of client connections and strategic planning, skills she now brings to creating seamless, client-centred experiences. Her background in hospitality and arts events has deepened her passion for turning culinary concepts into thoughtfully executed, memorable moments.
